Welcome to PetDiary (the "App"). Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the App. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Service Description

The App is a local-first tool for recording your pets' daily life, offering diary entries, pet profile management, vaccination and weight tracking, expense bookkeeping, and scheduled reminders. No account registration is required, and all features run locally on your device.

2. User Content and Responsibilities

• All content you create in the App (text, images, etc.) belongs to you and is stored only on your device.
• You are responsible for ensuring that the content you record complies with applicable laws and does not infringe the rights of any third party.
• Vaccination, weight, and similar records in the App are for reference only and do not constitute veterinary medical advice. Please consult a licensed veterinarian for your pet's health concerns.

3. Data Backup and Disclaimer

• Your data is stored only locally on your device. Uninstalling the App, or device damage or loss, will result in unrecoverable data loss. Please keep your device safe and make use of system-level backups (such as full-device iCloud backup).
• We are not liable for data loss caused by device failure, system updates, user error, or other causes beyond our reasonable control.
• We do not guarantee that the App will be continuously available or error-free, though we will make reasonable efforts to maintain and fix it.

4. Intellectual Property

The intellectual property rights of the App — including its interface design, icons, and code (excluding content you create) — belong to the developer. No one may copy, modify, reverse engineer, or otherwise infringe these rights without written permission.

5. Changes and Termination

• We may update these terms from time to time. Updates will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
• You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be resolved through friendly negotiation.
